You will learn the fundamentals of filmmaking and videography that will allow you to capture beautiful, cinematic videos in any location — whether indoors or outdoors. We focus on skills you can apply anywhere, so you can create stunning content for your clients without needing a professional studio space.

No — while photography and videography share some fundamentals, they are two very different skill sets. Being a photographer can definitely help, but you don’t need to be a professional to join this workshop. As long as you know how to operate your camera and adjust basic settings, you’re ready to start learning and creating!

By the end of the workshop, you will have enough footage to create 1–2 complete videos to market yourself. We will work through multiple settings and styles so your videos have variety and look unique. The main goal is for you to leave with at least one polished, marketable video. After the workshop, we’ll also hold a full-day Zoom session dedicated to editing (since that part requires a computer), where every student will be guided step by step to finish their project.

Bring your camera, a 28–70mm zoom lens if you have one, or any prime lenses in that focal length range. Try to bring a camera cage and a grip for better handheld shooting. Don’t forget multiple fast, 4K-compatible SD cards and several extra batteries.

We will work with two models — One model and one actress.

Yes, this is an in-person workshop, but two days simply aren’t enough to cover everything — so we’ve added a third day on Zoom for editing, as that part requires a computer and software.

We limit attendance to a maximum of 8 students to keep the experience focused and productive.

Once you complete your final project, we will review and critique your video, providing feedback and the opportunity to re-edit and make improvements. This workshop includes up to three one-hour 1:1 Zoom sessions to guide you through critiques and ensure you finish with a polished, professional final video.
